Who needs fast food?

From the corners of my kitchen (yeah, it's not rounded, you heard me!), I went to make dinner and decided on a simple "Chicken and rice" approach tonight. Then I decided to season the chicken.

The rice deserved some attention too, after that.

Added some broccoli for good measure. VIOLA! A chicken teryaki style bowl worthy of ANY chain you'd find! And the coup de grâce: brown rice, that is!



And thus, my taste buds rejoiced this evening.

Motorcycle

I bought a motorcycle. What better way to start of my blog than with that? That's me, on the bike. It's taller than I'd like - I can only reach the ground with the balls of my feet when done together. This thing has as much power as my former car did!

Don't worry, I didn't ride it like that, without my helmet. I wear it whenever I ride. I need a new one, and have ordered it, but I'm going to have to put up with a visorless helmet + safety goggles for now.

By the way - RAIN HURTS! On the 5th I was riding down to Orem, and passing the Point of the Mountain I got engulfed by a wicked sand/dust storm! Okay, no biggie: I slowed down and drove in the far-right lane. Safe, no trouble. Then comes the rain, and it hurts like the dickens! Anyway, I made it safely, if painfully to my destination. Thank goodness it wasn't raining when I returned home, though!
